New Balance offers a Protection Pack made up of three 2002R sneakers featuring a deconstructed-reconstructed design design. The New Balance 2002R Protection Pack Sea Salt features a white upper combining smooth leather and suede. The edge of the panels appears to have been cut with a knife, which brings the full deconstructed look to the pack. In the same spirit, there is a tongue with raw edges exposing the foam. The whole sits atop a slightly aged ABZORB sole. The 2002R is making a strong comeback after two collaborations with Salehe Bembury that greatly contributed to the reintroduction of the silhouette, originally released in 2010.
